On August 4th morning, at Xiangyang power plant the coal-fired coupled agriculture and forestry residue gasification for power generation phase II project technical communication meeting, The meeting was presided over by Mr. Hao Dong , Secretary of Xiangdian Party committee and chairman of the board. Mr. Shoujun Zhang, chairman of Hefei Debo company, and Chengwu Zhao, vice general manager, attended the technical communication meeting. Dong said that with the joint efforts of all parties, the first phase of the project has achieved better results than expected and has been highly praised and concerned by the state, provincial and municipal leaders and the industry. The project has been awarded the first prize of the group's scientific and technological progress, and has achieved good social, environmental and economic benefits. Xiangdian always attaches great importance to scientific and technological innovation and bravely takes social responsibility. He hopes that the second phase project will put social benefits first, The biomass gasification coupling project will be built into a demonstration project of "green water and green mountains are golden mountains and silver mountains" and "maintaining black land".
At the meeting, Hefei Debo introduced the process route of the second phase project according to the forward-looking requirements of leadersand its highlights: on a set of biomass gasifier, according to the type of raw materials and the market demand of biochar, flexibly realize the maximization of energy value or biochar value, and finally realize the maximization of system value!
On July 7th,2018,the biomass gasification coupling power generation unit 6 project of Hubei Huadian Xiangyang Power Generation Co., Ltd. succeeded in straw gasification gas production test, which is the first biomass gasification and coal-fired coupling power generation project using agricultural straw as the main raw material in domestic and abroad. "Huadian Xiangyang biomass gasification coupling project" is a key scientific and technological project of China Huadian Group Co., Ltd., which is jointly undertaken by Hubei Huadian Xiangyang Power Generation Co., Ltd., China Huadian science and Technology Group Co., Ltd. and Hefei Debo Bioenergy Science&Technology Co., Ltd. The first phase of the project can "digest" 51,400 tons of biomass solid waste such as straw, rice husk, wood waste, etc., with an annual power supply of 54.58 million kwh, saving about 22,500 tons of standard coal, 218 tons of sulfur dioxide and 67,000 tons of carbon dioxide. The project effectively uses the stock assets of large thermal power enterprises, and gives play to the technology leading edge of clean and efficient coal power system, which is the concrete embodiment of exploring the comprehensive and efficient utilization of biomass energy. After the project is put into operation, a circular economy industrial chain of "biomass - high temperature gas - electricity - returning to the field" will be formed to solve the problems such as direct burning of straw in the field, which has great social benefits. The project has been included in the pilot project of coal-fired coupling biomass power generation of national energy administration and Ministry of ecological environment.
